Full Circle Karate started with the vision and passion of Grandmaster Steve Turk of Washington, PA area. After achieving several black belts and winning numerous tournaments he created a new system of the best of what he had trained in. He opened his first school in Washington, PA in a classroom within an old school house that was too warm in the summer and too cold in the winter and with a changing room that would routinely lose power. But he had a belief in his system and his ability to create good students. He kept that group going for about a year before moving into a doublewide trailer underneath Interstate 70 and then to a nicer facility off Beau St across from the Foodland. From there he moved to the YWCA and once or twice more before landing on Cherry St in Houston, PA. He rented a large suite in the basement of a converted school building and operated his group until his passing in August of 2015.
During his years of teaching he produced many black belts and instructors and assistant instructors. His vision and support were always one of growth, replication and spreading the system without compromising quality.
Master Scott Goetz started training under Grandmaster Turk around 1991, got his black belt in 94 and opened the school in Sept of 1996.
